Israeli defense minister,Shaul Mofaz, in Brittain a wanted war criminal, gives the Occupation Army green light to continue its atrocity against OPT

Palestine Westbank December 6 2005

Under the past five weeks Israeli occupation forces have launched wide arrest raids in northern West Bank.72 members of the Islamic Jihad movement were arrested, 28 wounded and 9 were killed.Islamic Jihad has said that it reserves the right to retaliate for any perceived Israeli violations, and "the last operation in the Nataya, the heartland of the Zionist entity was a reprisal for the Israeli atrocious acts of aggression against the Palestinians, which embodied recently the killing of Lo'ay Al-Sa'adi, a senior Islamic Jihad commander."

In its comment on the Islamic Jihad operation, Hamas said that the responsibility of the operation rest squarely at the Israeli shoulders, for the Israeli breaches of the truce and escalations were, as it is always, the reason behind the Palestinian retaliation.

Palestinian armed resistense is not terrorism,it is true heroism. The Palestinian people have their inherent and inalienable right to protect their homeland.Organized armed defense of any homeland to guard and protect its citizens to stop, detain, expel, arrest, subdue, execute.armed definant, hostile trespassers (assassines and land-thieves etc) is not only a legitimate duty but a moral right ! Al-Qassam Brigades and the Palestinian Security Forces:
Inclusion Rumors and Exclusion Reality

Over the past few days, the issue of Palestinian resistance groups, especially Al-Qassam Brigades, has come back to the media. This has come after weeks of quiet that followed the bloody clashes between Palestinian Security Forces and members of Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza City. Over these few weeks, the issue of weapons of resistance groups has not been mentioned due to the fact that Al-Qassam Brigades and other resistance groups proved their discipline and sense of responsibility despite some provocations by Palestinian Security Forces.

Faced with the failure to push Palestinian resistance groups into open conflict with Palestinian security forces, Israeli officials have restarted their calls and pressure upon the Palestinian Authority to confront resistance groups and disarm them. It is strange that Israeli officials are making these statements because of the relative calm and quiet over the past few weeks. There have been no resistance operations against Israeli targets. On the contrary, Palestinian resistance has not replied to any of the crimes committed by the occupation against Palestinians.

The fact that Palestinian resistance groups have stayed independent of the Palestinian Authority is worrying Israel, as it keeps resistance a key issue on the Palestinian scene. Israel wants to work to liquidate the resistance as an entity in the Palestinian scene. And doing that with Palestinian hands is very convenient; especially because Israel has failed miserably in putting an end to the resistance.

At the time that Israeli officials were issuing their statements, some Palestinian officials stated that members of Al-Qassam Brigades have joined Palestinian security forces. To this, Hamas replied that Al-Qassam Brigades has not joined the Palestinian Authority, and does not intend to under the current circumstances.

On the contrary to these statements, the Palestinian Authority is conducting witch hunts for suspected Hamas members in Palestinian Security Forces and other governmental institutions. Over the past few week, there have been many cases of people dismissed from work for suspected links to Hamas.

Palestinian resistance, led by Al-Qassam Brigades, will not disappear as Israel wants, and will not dissolve in the Palestinian Security Forces, as some Palestinian officials want. The reason is that there is a barbaric occupation of Palestinian lands, and daily attacks against the people. Some Israeli officials had earlier said that Palestinian resistance played a role in bringing about the withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. And so, this resistance will continue to struggle and sacrifice till it brings about an end to the occupation as a whole.

Where are all the worldwide protests and the mainstream media outrage over these horrendous crimes?

Reports today quoting Israeli military officials saying they will recommend air strikes targeting militant leaders in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Shaul Mofaz say Israelis will renewal the policy of demolishing suicide bombers' homes.
Before Monday's bombing, Mofaz already ordered a resumption of so-called "targeted killings" of wanted Palestinian militants.

Senior negotiator Saeb Erekat said the attack "harms Palestinian interests" and called on both sides to maintain the ceasefire declared in February.

Members of the Palestine Organisation Hamas retuning home to a "free" Gaza Strip

Palestinians returning to Palestinian homeland to use their rights to participate in the coming elections

Palestinian security officials reports that 10-15 by Israelis, wanted Hamas members have recently entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing, Expelled from the occupied Palestinian teritories by the occupant Israel,or fleeing from Palestine fearing Israeli assassinations, some of the returning members of Hamas left before the first Intefada broke out, year1987
Among the returning Palestinians are Hamas founder Ahmed el-Malah and Fadel Zahar, a brother of Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar, who was expelled by the occupant Israel to Lebanon in 1991.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is under hard pressure by the Israelis to tighten oversight at the border.

MK Yuval Steinitz"chairman of Israeli Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee said three or four weeks ago that the Rafah agreement was destined to fail," "We gave in to American pressure at some point."
The Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, David Welch, is due to arrive Thursday for talks with officials in the Palestinian Authority and Israel. Welch is being dispatched to the region in order to be part of the monitoring of the implementation of the Rafah border crossing agreement brokered last month by Condoleezza Rice.Welch will monitoring the operation of Rafah crossing, where European Union inspectors are posted. He will also discuss upgrading the Karni and Erez crossings from the Gaza Strip to Israel as well as the running of trade convoys between Gaza and the West Bank. The administration considers the agreement to be an important achievement and a test of both sides' ability to function in an environment of cooperation. Senior officials in Washington say that both Israel and the Palestinians are making an effort to uphold their respective ends of the agreement, and the Americans are now trying to make sure that the election season will not grind negotiations to a halt.

The Occupant Israel still want to control who is entering the " free " Gaza Strip from the ourside world

The Israelis have complained this week of difficulties in obtaining information from the Palestinians regarding those crossing through the Rafah terminal. Sharon and Mofaz have threatened to exclude Gaza from the joint customs agreement. The move, which could devastate the Palestinian economy, would be activated "if it becomes clear that we cannot monitor as the events are taking place," Sharon said.

In meetings with Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat in Washington earlier this week, the US heard complains regarding the lack of cooperation from Israeli officials on the issues concerning the Palestinian elections. "I have written my Israeli colleagues seven times", said Erekat in a briefing at the Palestine Center after he met with Rice, "asking the Israelis to form the joint committee to begin the preparation to the election" - without a reply. The cooperation on this matter is necessary and"very sensitive". This will be one of the topics Welch is going to be dealing with."We were very clear on the election issue", says an official. Sourse: Israeli Radio
