On Monday, five Palestinian political organizations gathered in a meeting agreed upon, that a national comprehensive dialogue should begun at once, in order to end the Palestinian internal quarrel.

Leaders of the three leftist groups - the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP),and the Popular Front for the Palestinian Peoples' Party (PPP), attended the meeting, together with Fatah and Islamic Jihad, the meeting was held at the headquarters of DFLP.

Last week the leftist parties of the Palestinian political arena,attended together with Islamic Jihad a meeting, with representatives of Hamas movement in Gaza,the meeting formed a “Committee of Honor ” for national unity, the committee agreed to begin to deal with Fatah, and to follow up on this issue.

Talal Abu Tharifeh, a member of the DFLP Central Committee,said that the parties has reached an agreement regarding the main goal,a Palestinian political alliance,rational and coherent talks should take place, in accordance with the Cairo agreement of 2005,and the national unification accord of year 2006,and the initiative for Palestinian unity during the meetings in Yemen earlier this year.

At the Monday's meeting, Abu Tharifeh said, the parties in principal agreed to become a national unity government, which goals will strive towards reformation and unification of the old institutions of the Palestinian Authority.With professional work, restructure the Palestinian Security Forces, holding new legislative and presidential elections, on basis of complete and partial representation.The participants in the meeting also agreed upon the importance to reactivate the Palestinian Legislative Council ( PLC), and the Palestinian Liberation Organization ( PLO).

Tharifeh called for the need to preserve democratic freedom, freedom of opinion and equal political representation in Gaza and in the West Bank. Immediate stop of incitement in media campaigns,arbitrary detentions, and release of all political detainees, in the West Bank and in Gaza, through regulations in the national committee’s organization and in the administration of justice .
